Requirements

  • 7+ years of work experience in the Architecture/Interior Design industry, particularly in high-end residential or hospitality design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel periodically for projects outside the New York area
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, design focused open environment
  • Experience in training and guiding junior staff on the design process

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-end residential and hospitality projects with demonstrated experience across all phases
  • Understand client needs and user experience to develop design concepts and establish final project briefs
  • Demonstrate expertise and confidence in engaging with high-profile clients, consultants, and contractors across all stages of project development
  • Lead the creation and evaluation of design and construction documentation
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of the design and documentation process, from concept through completion
  • Craft and deliver compelling presentations tailored to client needs and expectations
  • Translate design ideas into detailed models and high-quality renderings
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering growth and skill development
