Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field (required for both Architect SG7 and Architect Sr SG8)
3 years of relevant work experience (Architect SG7) or 6 years of relevant work experience (Architect Sr SG8); equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Experience working with web-based platforms, including public-facing websites and internal intranet systems
Familiarity with customer communication tools, such as portals, messaging platforms, or digital engagement solutions
Understanding of the electric utility industry, with exposure to regulatory environments, compliance standards, and industry-specific challenges
Hands-on experience or familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including cloud architecture, deployment, and security best practices
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture domains: application, integration, data, and infrastructure

Part of a larger team delivering technology solutions to address business problems and opportunities
Translate specific business requirements into technical solution architectures including application architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, and non-functional requirements around supportability, resiliency, security, etc
Translate general business requirements and business trends into architecture patterns and technology ecosystems including data center architecture, application architecture patterns, integration architecture patterns, technology standards, non-functional technical requirements, and computing paradigms
