Candidates should possess a minimum of 4-6 years of B2B accounts receivable experience, ideally within government, university, pharmaceutical, hospital, or laboratory sectors. A strong understanding of AR processes, including collections, billing, and cash application, is essential. Experience with e-invoicing platforms, particularly Pagero, and knowledge of electronic invoice submission requirements are necessary. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, are required, along with excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, coupled with tenacity and problem-solving skills, is also important. SAP experience is preferred, and familiarity with GetPaid is a plus. This position requires residency in Sao Paulo and a commitment to commuting to the corporate LATAM HQ two days per week. The AR Specialist will manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and customer account maintenance. Key responsibilities include uploading and reconciling bank statements, performing billing reconciliation, creating manual invoices, and submitting invoices through the Pagero portal, resolving any errors or rejections. The role involves reducing past-due receivables through proactive customer contact, reconciling customer accounts, and resolving transaction discrepancies with internal teams and customers. Responsibilities also include initiating credit/rebill transactions, preparing and distributing customer statements and dunning letters, processing customer refund requests, handling customer change requests, and managing the AR inbox. Additionally, the specialist will review and release held orders, collaborate with relevant teams to resolve order release issues, and gather documentation for audits, ensuring compliance with SOX controls and company policies. Participation in special projects and process improvement initiatives is also expected.
