Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit
  • Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment
  • Disassemble and reassemble electrical equipment

  • Drill holes and pull/push wiring through openings
  • Strip insulation from wire ends and attach wires to terminals
  • Trace out short circuits in wiring
  • Install copper-clad ground rods
  • Break up concrete
  • Clean work area and wash parts
  • Transport tools, materials, and equipment to work sites
  • Construct controllers and panels
  • Raise/lower equipment using hoists
