Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit
Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment
Disassemble and reassemble electrical equipment
Thread conduit ends and fabricate conduit support brackets
Examine electrical units for loose connections
Drill holes and pull/push wiring through openings
Strip insulation from wire ends and attach wires to terminals
Trace out short circuits in wiring
Install copper-clad ground rods
Break up concrete
Clean work area and wash parts
Transport tools, materials, and equipment to work sites
Construct controllers and panels
Raise/lower equipment using hoists
