Responsibilities

On the engineering team, you will:

• Design, develop, and optimize AI-powered experiences, with a focus on conversational AI systems that deliver value through natural language interfaces.
• Create prototypes that demonstrate innovative applications of AI technologies.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to identify opportunities where AI can enhance user experiences.
• Implement and refine agentic workflows using frameworks to create autonomous AI agents.
• Build chat-based user interfaces using modern web technologies.
• Optimize AI solutions for performance, cost, and user experience.

Technical Implementation Focus

• Text analysis and language generation systems.
• Image analysis pipelines for text and table extraction.
• Systems that translate natural language into structured representations, such as mathematical formulas.
• Chat-based user interfaces and components using React and Tailwind.
• AI model evaluation, optimization, and deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack software development.
• Experience deploying AI solutions in production, with familiarity across cloud platforms (Vercel, Railway, Modal, AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Built user interfaces with React and Tailwind CSS.
• Deep understanding of LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Mistral) and ability to evaluate, optimize, and select the right model for a given task.
• Experience with RAG systems (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant) for semantic search.
• Knowledge of agentic workflow frameworks (e.g., MCP, A2A, AutoGen, CrewAI, PydanticAI, LangGraph).
• Proficient with model evaluation techniques, MLOps practices, and AI-assisted dev tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Zed, Devin).
• Experience using text-to-app platforms (v0, Replit, Figma Make) for rapid prototyping.
• Background in image analysis.
