Requirements

  • Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Physics (advanced degree is helpful)
  • Practical knowledge with DualBeam Microscopes is essential
  • 3+ years of proven ability in research or applications development using DualBeam (FIBSEM) technology
  • Experience with any of the following is highly valued: FIB chemistries, TEM sample preparation, ASV, EBSD, EDS, SIMS, Patterning, Inert transfer, or Cryo techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working in multifunctional and cross-cultural teams
  • Willingness to travel frequently across EMEA (up to 50%) — valid passport required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality DualBeam (FIBSEM) product demonstrations and develop new techniques and applications for our partners and customers
  • Provide comprehensive customer training after microscope installation
  • Develop and maintain training materials to ensure an excellent learning experience
  • Act as a key liaison between customers and the factory, addressing technical issues, sharing feedback, and building strong customer relationships
  • Clearly communicate sophisticated technologies, deliver detailed technical presentations, and support applications development
  • Resolve and record hardware and software issues in conjunction with engineering and service teams
  • Provide ongoing feedback to product groups on performance, features, and future improvement opportunities
