Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in applications development, testing, and/or support in a client/server environment or specializing in applications technology
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Experience with at least 2+ of the following software languages or packages: MS Access, Visual Basic, PL/SQL, Pronexus VBVoice, Crystal Reports, document management (e.g., electronic publishing, submission, or imaging), or internet development tools
  • Experience with Docker and R Studio is preferred but not required
  • Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop SQL scripts for data modifications
  • Perform system testing and testing automation
  • Work with Operations groups in the deployment and implementation of the system
  • Provide ongoing support for the application, coordinating with the Help Desk group
  • In collaboration with the Lead Application Developer and Development Manager, provide systems support, analysis, development, and testing for mid-sized to large information systems
  • Deliver business support and resolve issues logged in the company ticketing system
  • Assist the Senior Application Developer in working closely with the business to outline system requirements and compose comprehensive system build specifications
