Requirements

Minimum 7.5 years of experience in VMware Virtualization Administration
8+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and VMware virtualization
Hands-on expertise with Tanium for patching, compliance, and endpoint management
Proven experience in automation using PowerShell or other scripting languages
Strong background in vulnerability remediation and security compliance
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management)
Effective communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

Administer and support Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022)
Manage and maintain VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi hosts
Oversee patch management lifecycle using Tanium, SCCM, or equivalent tools
Perform vulnerability assessment and remediation, ensuring timely closure of security findings
Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, or other tools) for patching, compliance reporting, and system health checks
Lead root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting for system, performance, and infrastructure issues
Ensure compliance with corporate security and IT governance policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Network, and Application) to ensure seamless operations
Maintain comprehensive operational and technical documentation
