Requirements

  • 6–9 years of experience in software/data engineering with increasing technical ownership
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform
  • Expert-level Python programming and deep understanding of AWS serverless architecture and data services
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks (PySpark, SQL) and working with large-scale enterprise datasets
  • Strong grasp of RAG models, embeddings, and vector database design (e.g., pgvector, Pinecone, OpenSearch, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Jenkins, and cloud-native deployment practices
  • Ability to mentor teams, conduct reviews, and influence technical decisions
  • 15 years full time education
  • Relevant AWS, Databricks, or AI/ML certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced ingestion pipelines for multiple enterprise data sources using AWS services
  • Architect and implement RAG data processing components (chunking, embeddings, vector storage) for optimal retrieval
  • Lead development of secure, scalable APIs and microservices powering the enterprise chatbot solution
  • Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor mid-level engineers on architecture and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with product and architecture teams to define technical roadmaps and integration strategies
  • Contribute to DevOps automation: Terraform-based infrastructure, Jenkins pipelines, and deployment governance
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance efficiency across environments
