Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory or demand planning within a consumer goods, apparel, or accessories business
  • Proven success managing complex, multi-category portfolios and influencing business decisions through data-driven insights
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with a strong grasp of retail math and forecasting methodologies
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and planning or analytics platforms; familiarity with AI forecasting tools a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to partner effectively across Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Based in Boston, MA, or willing to relocate to WHOOP’s headquarters

Responsibilities

  • Lead forecasting, demand planning, and inventory strategy across the A&A portfolio to achieve financial and operational goals
  • Partner with Product Marketing to align inventory plans with marketing calendars, launch timelines, and lifecycle strategies
  • Develop data-driven buy strategies that balance product availability, inventory health, and financial goals across core and seasonal assortments
  • Analyze inventory positions and SKU performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; recommend and execute corrective actions as needed
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in Open-to-Buy (OTB) discussions with FP&A, delivering insights on inventory positions, on-order, and financial performance
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team on lead times, MOQs, and production schedules to ensure supply readiness and alignment to demand
  • Optimize replenishment and distribution strategies to ensure products are in the right place at the right time to meet customer demand
  • Drive process improvement and scalability through enhanced reporting, planning tools, and cross-functional communication
