Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of equivalent work experience, along with a development background and at least 2 years of experience in a technical support, integration, or API-focused troubleshooting role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, including the ability to effectively express ideas and thoughts in writing and verbally. Familiarity with REST web services and development tools such as Postman is highly desirable.
The API Specialist will provide technical support and consulting to clients, developers, and partners using the Procore API ecosystem, including testing, troubleshooting, and communicating with developers. They will utilize API and integration subject matter expertise to efficiently respond to cases via a ticketing system, manage technical and product issues and escalations related to API endpoints, develop training content, contribute to Knowledgebase articles, and FAQs, and collaborate with Product Management to identify opportunities for API improvement and feature requests. They will also provide timely assistance in Slack to Customer Success teams and manage technical and product issues and escalations related to our API endpoints and developer ecosystem.
