Mechanical aptitude for repairing, adjusting, testing, and installing chemical dispensing systems, and evaluating milking equipment
Responsibilities
Work closely with existing Account Managers in customer farm environments, focusing on milk quality and animal hygiene using effective sanitation products and processes
Learn the daily responsibilities of an Ecolab Account Manager and work on specific value-added projects throughout the summer, presenting findings to the leadership team
Work alongside Account Managers and field associates to learn customers' operations, understand their business challenges, and devise solutions
Cultivate business relationships with all levels of farm and distribution partner staff through professional demeanor and interpersonal skills
Apply mechanical aptitude to repair, adjust, test, and install Ecolab chemical dispensing systems, as well as evaluate milking equipment performance and udder health program performance
Monitor product performance and adjust chemical concentration levels to advance operational efficiency and effectiveness
Provide industry expertise and training to customers regarding milk quality aspects, standard operating procedures, and issues of environmental safety/quality
Introduce new product/service offerings to existing accounts to help improve profitability or reduce disease presence
Learn how to successfully prospect to generate new business
Participate in an 11-week paid internship program starting June 1st
