Requirements

6+ years of overall work experience with 5+ years exclusively in delivering data solutions
More than 6 years of experience in Power BI data loading and transformation, data modeling, as well as report and dashboard creation
Skilled in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), developing measures and calculated columns, and optimizing performance
Data Modeling knowledge – normalization/denormalization, star schema vs. snowflake schema, and relationship management
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and partner communication skills
Excellent analysis and business requirement documentation skills
Proficient in Power BI Service (Cloud) technologies such as workspaces, applications, user access management, scheduled data refresh, and gateways
Excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Connect to various data sources (databases, APIs, Excel files, cloud services)
Extract, clean, transform, and load (ETL) data using Power Query or other tools; ensure data quality and integrity
Build and develop robust data models optimized for reporting and analysis; establish relationships between tables, define calculated columns and measures using DAX
Develop engaging reports and dashboards with interactive and visually attractive design using Power BI Desktop
Supervise report performance and data refresh processes, fix and resolve data-related issues
Optimize DAX formulas and data models for faster report loading
Implement upgrades and automation (e.g., with Power Automate)
Provide recommendations for improving business intelligence capabilities
Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and guidelines
Supervise workspace organization, update timelines for data refresh, and supervise user access rights
Set up and maintain data gateways for on-premise data sources
Translate business needs into technical specifications, present insights and reports to collaborators, and offer training/support
Lead report deployment and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business needs
