Requirements

Candidates must possess at least two years of industry experience developing software with R using both object-oriented and functional programming, as well as experience creating interactive Shiny applications. They should have a solid understanding of Linux system administration and two years of experience owning the infrastructure utilized by the Biostatistics team, including proficiency with version control systems like Git, AWS, and Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform or Ansible. Furthermore, familiarity with Python and ORM frameworks like SQLAlchemy is required, along with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

The Analytics Engineer will own and evolve the infrastructure used by Artera’s Biostatistics team to facilitate rapid development of R libraries, data and AI model analyses, and contributions to publications. They will develop the infrastructure necessary for rapid dashboard development to analyze both in-progress and launched products, and will serve as a key analytical contributor on diverse research and development initiatives, collaborating closely with biostatistics, clinical development teammates, AI engineers, product managers, and external partners.
