Requirements

Experience with cloud management and administration is essential, as is the ability to identify anomalies and drive cost-optimization opportunities within a complex cloud utilization environment. A solid understanding of Arcadia’s cloud architecture and usage is also required.

Responsibilities

The AWS FinOps Analyst will establish a reliable cadence for forecasting, anomaly detection, and reporting, providing a detailed optimization roadmap aligned with product and infrastructure growth, and validating cost savings or avoidance. They will also conduct data analysis projects, such as enhancing cloud budgets, improving anomaly detection and alerting, and implementing new cost dashboards and reports, while leading cloud cost review meetings and owning cost-related reporting for internal stakeholders. Furthermore, the role involves updating tagging and other metadata for accurate cost allocation, establishing governance for tagging, budgeting, and spend accountability in AWS, and automating reporting and savings opportunity identification, ultimately delivering a year-end executive summary on cost trends and forecasts.
