5 years of experience in a laboratory setting or a 4-year degree with a science concentration
Three years of experience as a Senior Analyst/A Analyst in the Chem Lab
Basic computer skills including Windows, Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, and working knowledge of SAP
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and able to initiate action without direction
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to apply conflict resolution skills
Ability to conduct chemical analyses
Export compliance eligibility (U.S. citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, asylee/refugee, or approved for export license)

Responsibilities

Leading and coordinating coverage for the Finish Products and Oxide laboratories
Instructing, guiding, and scheduling work of combined laboratory technicians
Performing chemical and physical analyses
Supporting and coordinating work of multiple laboratories
Understanding quality control and measurement techniques
Ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures, Job Safety Analyses, and special instructions are followed
Making recommendations for Standard Operating Procedures improvements and revisions
Supporting all audit functions to maintain accreditations
Supporting all other sections of Chem Lab as needed
