Requirements

1-2 years relevant work experience in structured finance, investment banking, secured loans and/or warehouse lending with transaction management and execution experience
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and structured finance modeling tools (Intex DealMaker and IntexCalc)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized and attentive to detail
Strong leadership and team orientation
Flexible, creative, and commercial; comfortable working on multiple transactions at once across a variety of assets

Responsibilities

Work with portfolio managers to develop and model debt instruments including ABS/CLO securitizations, project & corporate finance structures, and other debt solutions that optimize capital, accounting and tax on assets Global Atlantic acquires
Support transaction execution process from beginning to end, including preparation and review of legal documentation with external counsel
Manage workstreams with external stakeholders including but not limited to trustees, servicers, rating agencies, and accountants
Liaise with internal stakeholders such as accounting, tax, middle office, and analytics teams throughout the transaction process
Ensure transactions are operating in accordance with deal documentation
Assist with deal re-structures and re-ratings for existing transactions
Interface with deal counsel to ensure timely and successful deal closings
