Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
0-2 years of analytics or related experience (internships, academic projects, and entry-level roles accepted)
Strong SQL abilities for data extraction and analysis from databases
Proficiency in Python with libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, and basic data visualization
Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Hex, or similar) for creating charts and dashboards
Understanding of basic statistical concepts and analytical methods
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to derive insights from data
Ability to translate technical analysis into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
Comfortable with a hybrid work environment (2-3 days in office)

Responsibilities

Create and maintain executive dashboards and operational reports using Hex and Power BI to track key energy performance metrics and business KPIs
Design compelling visualizations that effectively communicate energy data and trends to diverse audiences
Develop interactive reports that enable stakeholders to explore data and derive insights independently
Conduct complex analytical investigations using Python to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities across energy portfolios and operations
Perform statistical analysis, including time series analysis, forecasting models, and statistical testing relevant to energy production and consumption patterns
Support advanced analytics initiatives through proper data preparation and analysis
Collaborate with credit risk teams to analyze financial data supporting regulatory reporting and business operations
Present analytical findings to internal partners, translating complex data insights into actionable business recommendations
Partner with asset management and trading teams to understand operational requirements and deliver analytical solutions
Track and analyze renewable energy asset performance and operational efficiency indicators
Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for operational improvements
