Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in similar positions
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Preferred: Previous experience in transportation or logistics operations
  • Preferred: Knowledge of U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
  • Preferred: Experience and/or knowledge of BASC, CTPAT, ISO9000

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and follow up on daily priority shipments, providing timely updates to stakeholders
  • Track and report on the status of incoming and outgoing shipments on a regular basis
  • Coordinate the return of empty containers to rail as required
  • Manage local pickups and deliveries within the El Paso, TX – Ciudad Juárez, Chih. region
  • Maintain and update transportation data records, including driver, truck, trailer, and license plate catalogs
  • Prepare and distribute daily logistics and performance reports
  • Assign drivers and trailers for import and export shipments
  • Communicate with transportation providers and trailer rental companies to resolve issues promptly
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
  • Support special projects and tasks assigned
  • Ensure compliance with CTPAT, BASC, OEA, and applicable U.S./Mexico customs and traffic regulations
  • Adhere to all company policies and comply with legal requirements related to environmental protection, workplace safety, and regulatory standards; promptly report any suspected violations to management
