Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in similar positions
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
Preferred: Previous experience in transportation or logistics operations
Preferred: Knowledge of U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
Preferred: Experience and/or knowledge of BASC, CTPAT, ISO9000

Responsibilities

Monitor and follow up on daily priority shipments, providing timely updates to stakeholders
Track and report on the status of incoming and outgoing shipments on a regular basis
Coordinate the return of empty containers to rail as required
Manage local pickups and deliveries within the El Paso, TX – Ciudad Juárez, Chih. region
Maintain and update transportation data records, including driver, truck, trailer, and license plate catalogs
Prepare and distribute daily logistics and performance reports
Assign drivers and trailers for import and export shipments
Communicate with transportation providers and trailer rental companies to resolve issues promptly
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
Support special projects and tasks assigned
Ensure compliance with CTPAT, BASC, OEA, and applicable U.S./Mexico customs and traffic regulations
Adhere to all company policies and comply with legal requirements related to environmental protection, workplace safety, and regulatory standards; promptly report any suspected violations to management
