Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Analytics or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in capital markets, consulting, buy-side/sell-side research, or investor relations
  • Strong analytical skills with high degree proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
  • Experience with platforms like FactSet, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or IR Insight preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage senior executives and institutional investors
  • A consultative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and passion for capital markets
  • Strong command of business models, investment thesis construction, and valuation approaches commonly used by industry professionals

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders—both internally across Nasdaq’s global team and externally with C-Suite executives and Investor Relations leaders—to identify client needs and recommend tailored approaches for sentiment analysis and investor targeting
  • Assist senior team members in shaping strategic engagement plans by critically assessing client objectives and market dynamics
  • Partner with public company management to identify needs, design, structure, and execute investor outreach strategies, including conferences, non-deal roadshows, and direct engagement with institutional investors
  • Conduct perception studies by interviewing institutional investors (portfolio managers, buy-side and sell-side analysts), synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations for clients
  • Leverage Nasdaq’s proprietary data and analytical tools to identify untapped pools of long-term capital and measure IR program effectiveness
  • Develop and implement investor targeting strategies using advanced analytics to optimize engagement with high-potential investors
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations for C-Suite and Board meetings, distilling complex sentiment and market data into clear, actionable narratives
  • Conduct ad hoc research on capital markets trends, investor behavior, and competitive benchmarking to support the global team
