Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
4+ years of relevant financial operations experience preferred
Progression toward advanced degrees and/or professional certifications is a plus
Strong understanding of the trade operations environment and market settlement practices strongly preferred
Proven track record of being organized, professional, and ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously within a tight timeframe
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that implement process solutions
Exposure to or basic understanding of Fund Accounting or Pricing preferred
Solid understanding of OMGEO Alert and CTM preferred
Solid understanding of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
SQL or VBA knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

Supervising trade instruction and delivery to custodian banks
Facilitating the accurate and timely delivery of critical business information to all interested parties
Providing trade confirmation/affirmation and settlement support for equity asset class
Bringing failed trades to a resolution by communicating with brokers and custodian banks
Collaborating within the team environment to optimally handle daily work volumes and quality standards
Providing timely mentor to staff on day-to-day responsibilities
Identifying and resolving problems related to transactions or investment data in an appropriate fashion following established guidelines
