Requirements
The ideal candidate will have broad experience across compliance topics, with a solid understanding of payment services regulations, financial crime prevention, anti-money laundering (AML) frameworks, IT security requirements, operational risk and resilience topics, and data protection laws. Experience within a UK regulated authorised payment institution is expected.
Responsibilities
The Compliance Manager & Deputy MLRO will support the UK Chief Compliance Officer in overseeing the regulatory compliance framework and ensuring adherence to FCA requirements. This includes conducting reviews of internal policies, updating them to reflect regulatory changes, assisting with regulatory reporting, and providing advisory support on payment services regulations. The role also involves acting as the Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for the UK entity and assisting in the development and improvement of AML and Counter-Terrorist Financing programs.
