Requirements

Candidates should be self-starters and self-motivated to meet deadlines without micromanagement. Prior experience in anti-financial crime at a regulated institution is required, along with strong knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020. Familiarity with due diligence screening tools like ComplyAdvantage or LexisNexis is necessary. A Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

The Financial Crime Compliance Analyst will conduct anti-money laundering due diligence screening on entities and individuals. They will propose risk ratings based on anti-financial crime factors and escalate high-risk factors to the Head of Financial Crime for further review and Enhanced Due Diligence. Additionally, they will draft and update anti-financial crime policies and procedures and provide feedback to product management and engineering to improve Passthrough for internal and external users.
