Requirements

  • 8+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
  • 2+ years of experience at an FAR 121 air carrier
  • Must hold a current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions and recent A&P experience on turbine powered aircraft
  • Must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
  • Must meet recency requirements per 14 CFR 65.83
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a valid Passport with unrestricted travel access
  • Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be flexible and willing to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed
  • Must be willing to travel over 70% and up to 100% of the time, including possible international business travel
  • Must be willing to work with other departments within the company as needed
  • High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
  • Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the Business Partners and Breeze Airways
  • Ensuring that all aircraft maintenance, inspection, modification, and delivery is completed to the highest quality
  • Continuous surveillance of work in progress and managing the assigned projects to insure on time delivery
  • Ensuring that all documentation provided to the Breeze records department regarding the aircraft Maintenance/ Delivery is complete and free of omissions, and obvious errors
  • Approving all maintenance and inspection tasks prior to start of work
  • Performing quality audits during and after work is completed
  • Performing spot inspections of work in progress
  • Performing continuous surveillance of maintenance support shop areas
  • Documenting all discrepancies found and keeping the DQ and the DOM informed
  • Stopping work and notifying the DQ and the DOM when a critical finding has been discovered
  • Ensuring that the business partner’s employees are properly trained and qualified to complete the tasks they have been assigned
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated
  • Attending and/or calling all Provider meetings relating to the aircraft work and inspection process
  • Maintaining a progress log that accurately presents the status of the aircraft, the remaining work, and the inspection requirements
  • Overseeing pre-flight inspections and accompanying test flight crews on functional check flights
  • Ensuring proper release of aircraft to and from service including work package review
  • Assigned to a delivery inspection and performs acceptance check for Company acquired aircraft
  • Use PPE devices
