Requirements

Experienced and motivated technologist with technical depth, creative problem-solving skills, and strong interpersonal abilities
Ability to lead design, development, and deployment of AI-powered design tools integrating image generation models (e.g., OpenAI GPT-Image-1, DALL-E 3, Google Gemini 2.5 Flash, FLUX 1.1 Pro Ultra, Stable Diffusion 3.5, SeedDream v4, Ideogram 3.0)
Proficiency in integrating and optimizing multiple AI APIs using a "Lego-building" approach for fashion and footwear design
Expertise in multi-API orchestration (e.g., Google Gemini, OpenAI, Fal.ai) with advanced prompt engineering
Skills in building scalable image generation pipelines for batch processing with intelligent routing, using cloud services (AWS, Vercel, Replit, or equivalent)
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Tailwind CSS for creating web applications and intuitive drag-and-drop interfaces
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (footwear designers, graphic artists, merchandisers) as the sole software developer
Knowledge of developing automated systems for CMF variations, component swapping, style transfer, and queue management
Proficiency in database solutions using PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM for design assets, caching, user data, and file storage
Capability to execute product backlogs, prototype rapidly, experiment with emerging models, implement quality validation, retry logic, brand consistency checks, and manage API rate limits/costs
Commitment to staying up to date with latest AI technologies

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered design tools integrating cutting-edge image generation models for footwear and apparel automation
Integrate and optimize multiple AI APIs using a "Lego-building" approach to create proprietary solutions for fashion and footwear design
Develop and maintain multi-API orchestration (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Fal.ai) with advanced prompt engineering to enhance design workflows and ensure brand consistency
Build scalable image generation pipelines for batch processing hundreds of concurrent requests, with intelligent routing using cloud services
Create and deploy web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Tailwind CSS for intuitive drag-and-drop interfaces, collaborating on frontend development
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (designers, graphic artists, merchandisers) to integrate AI solutions tailored for creative workflows
Develop automated systems for CMF variations, component swapping, style transfer, and other design workflows with queue management
Design and implement database solutions using PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM for storing design assets, API caching, user data, and iteration histories
Execute against the product backlog, rapidly prototyping and experimenting with emerging models to boost creative team output
Implement quality validation, automatic retry logic, brand consistency checks, and manage API rate limits and costs
