Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. Required experience includes 10+ years in the field, or 7+ years with a Master's degree, or 2+ years with a Ph.D. Experience in building and deploying Machine Learning solutions with various ML algorithms and proficiency in Python programming are essential. A strong understanding of Machine Learning techniques, feature analysis, algorithm selection, and model hyperparameter tuning is necessary. Experience with NLP/NLG, AI Conversational Agents & Other Generative AI, and software development lifecycles is required. Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Azure Databricks, and CloudDBs is needed. Certifications and specializations in AI/ML, LLMs, and Cloud platforms are preferred, as are excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills. Prior team leadership experience and demonstrated mentorship capabilities are also preferred.

Responsibilities

The AI/Machine Learning Engineer will lead AI/ML Platform & Engineering strategy, including Generative AI and Advanced Analytics. They will drive alignment on architecture adoption and realization in partnership with business leaders, offering thought leadership and technical advice. Responsibilities include developing technical architecture standards and guidelines, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to build production-level models and pipelines, and optimizing AI/ML processes. The role involves assisting the operations team with model performance monitoring, communicating technical solutions to non-IT stakeholders, and facilitating product selection aligned with architecture standards. Experience in building IT use cases and solutions, particularly around AI/ML cognitive services and platforms, model productionization, and CICD automation, is expected. Engagement with senior executives and leadership is also a key aspect of the role, as is reviewing and selecting technical and applications architectures.
