Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented approach
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including RealPage Onesite Tax Credit software
  • Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) certification a plus; required to attend HCCP training within first 2 years of employment and pass the exam
  • Knowledge of HUD program a plus
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of work time annually for property visits, conferences, training, or other business activities

Responsibilities

  • Review Affordable Housing resident files for eligibility and compliance with all required laws
  • Review files based on applicant information and ensure reviews are completed within 24 hours of receipt
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures in the personnel manual
  • Monitor changes in LIHTC regulations and requirements and implement modifications as needed
  • Attend TDHCA trainings annually
  • Attend HCCP training within first two years of employment and pass the exam to receive HCCP designation
  • Participate in all tax credit reviews by outside entities
