Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited program in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Agricultural Engineering
  • Junior standing or higher (graduation no sooner than Dec 2026)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps
  • Experience with CAD/CREO/CreoView (preferred)
  • Interest in manufacturing technologies and continuous improvement
  • Available to start on May 18, 2026, and participate through August 7, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Work under the guidance of an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer on active projects
  • Participate in the New Product Development (NPD) process from prototype to production
  • Support local plant builds (prototype, pilot, and production)
  • Assist in assembly process development and improvement
  • Perform DFMA reviews and contribute to cost justification/ROI analyses
  • Evaluate vertical integration and outsourcing opportunities
  • Contribute to the creation of data-driven analytics tools
  • Deliver a final presentation to Toro leaders on your project work and outcomes
