Requirements
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid and current license in the state of practice, and possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree. A minimum of one year of experience as an RN in an acute care setting, preferably with experience in dialysis or renal care, is required. Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of renal physiology are essential.
Responsibilities
The Acute Inpatient Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care to patients undergoing hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, apheresis, and ultrafiltration, administering treatments and monitoring patient responses. They will supervise Patient Care Technicians and clerical staff, provide education to ICU staff, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans, accurately document patient information, and ensure the safe and efficient delivery of care while adhering to hospital and company policies and procedures.
