Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, which is preferred. Associate degree or equivalent work experience may be accepted for entry-level roles. Proficiency in accounting software such as ERP systems like Workday is required, along with strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP. Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus.
As the Accounts Receivable Administrator, you will assess customer creditworthiness, set or recommend credit limits, review financial statements and credit reports, monitor accounts for changes in credit risk, collaborate with sales, collections, and legal teams to resolve credit issues, follow up on overdue accounts, process and collect customer payments, apply incoming payments to correct customer accounts, research and resolve unapplied payments, handle remittance advice, respond to inquiries related to payments, and ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
