Candidates should possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and preferably hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. They should have at least three years of professional experience in public accounting or a high-growth software company, along with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606. Experience with SaaS industry, financial applications like Salesforce, Bill.com, Chargebee, Navan, QuickBooks or ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills is preferred.
The Accounting Operations Analyst will assist in and own areas of the monthly and quarterly accounting close process, support the order-to-cash function including contract review and order form creation, manage the accounts receivable process with proactive customer outreach, manage the accounts payable function, maintain the expense management platform, develop accounting policies and process improvements, and perform ad-hoc financial tasks and reporting. They will also work cross functionally with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure a smooth order-to-cash function and support improvements across billing, reporting, and revenue recognition workflows.
