Opportunity for Impact

This role offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in designing the foundation for the accounting department as the business enters its next phase of growth and continues to scale.

Responsibilities

  • Month-End Financial Close: Refine and own our monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes from start to finish, proactively identifying issues and opportunities to improve our close speed and accuracy.
  • Financial Operations: Own the day-to-day financial operations and streamline the process for customer invoicing, vendor payables, credit charges & employee expenses.
  • Accounting Activities: Lead daily accounting activities including payroll entries, general ledger and bank transactions by ensuring proper recording of transactions in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Systems Improvements: Lead accounting automation projects, focusing on scalable finance and reporting system design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Financial Reporting: Collaborate on the preparation of the monthly and quarterly financial reporting package, which includes variance analysis, gross margin and contribution margin analysis, etc.
  • Treasury Operations: Provide critical support with cash flow management, including forecasting, monitoring liquidity, and optimizing working capital to support business needs across all entities.
  • Tax Reporting and Compliance: Oversee federal, state, and local tax reporting and compliance.
