Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial accounting operations of Clio’s EMEA parent and subsidiary corporations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
  • Manage transaction-processing functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and general ledger maintenance
  • Support preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and key accounting schedules
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes for EMEA entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Review account reconciliations, flux analyses, and financial statement drafts
  • Prepare or oversee consolidated financial statements, management reports, and MD&A deliverables
  • Identify technical accounting issues and perform research/analysis under US GAAP, IFRS, and ASC 606
  • Draft and maintain accounting policies for compliance and consistency
  • Support external audit processes with documentation, reconciliations, and responses
  • Design and maintain SOPs and Risk and Control Matrix to mitigate risks
  • Assess processes for control gaps, compliance risks, and improvements
  • Partner with global teams for internal controls and SOX compliance
  • Drive process improvements using automation and best practices for efficiency and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on system integrations and new initiatives
  • Streamline month-end close and financial reporting processes globally
  • Manage and mentor a team of junior, intermediate, and senior accountants, fostering a culture of excellence
