Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems

Responsibilities

Provides first level of supervision with both technical and administrative responsibility for a team of management staff
Manages team’s workload, prioritizes projects, and reviews work
Evaluates and reports on staff performance, participates in employee selection, provides career guidance and training direction, complies with personnel practices, and promotes team rewards and successes
Motivates team members to work towards individual and team goals / objectives and fosters an environment of teamwork and cooperation
Ensures team members complete monthly tasks and journal entries on time
Reviews current controls and provides updates as needed
Supports monthly results reporting, as well as quarterly and annual forecasts
Provides expertise on complex business, financial or managerial issues within the Building Construction Products (BCP) division
Provides key support to the BCP accounting leaders and other leadership teams across the organization
