Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of two years of progressive experience in accounting roles. Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is required, along with advanced English proficiency and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

The Accounting Analyst II will participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, preparing journal entries and supporting documentation. They will perform monthly reconciliation of low to medium complexity GL accounts, research variances, prepare adjustments, and resolve discrepancies. Additionally, the role involves reviewing reconciliations for low and medium priority accounts, preparing audit schedules, collaborating with internal customers and participating in the BU Liaison program.
