Requirements
Candidates must possess a minimum of one to two years of relevant experience in a multinational environment, with the ability to work autonomously within a fully remote company. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required, and experience with financial statement preparation and statutory audits is essential. CPA/ACA/CIMA and/or experience with a big four accounting firm are considered a plus.
Responsibilities
The International Statutory Accountant will support all aspects of international statutory accounting operations, working with external professional service providers to maintain local accounting records and prepare high-quality statutory financial statements. They will ensure changes to local accounting requirements are captured and operationalized, engage with local auditors, and support the US GAAP to STAT GAAP reconciliation process. Furthermore, the role involves preparation of intercompany reconciliations, monthly intercompany settlement files, and collaboration with internal legal, tax, and treasury teams. The Accountant will critically evaluate current systems and processes, and act as a driver for identifying and implementing new initiatives, while prioritizing work and excelling in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
