Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field of study
Some experience in the insurance industry as well as work related responsibilities
Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
Excellent written and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Analytical skills and detail oriented
Excellent teamwork skills
Proficient in the use of MS Office suite products, especially Excel (a must) and Word

Responsibilities

Prepare journal vouchers entries
Account reconciliations
Keep updated vendor record
Support with the completion of financial statements and other financial reports
Prepare special financial reports as required and maintain the digital archives
In charge of setting vendors and banking information required for payments in the Caribbean
Manages Ariba requests, OFAC screening, CBRA, and tax retention settings in system
Other accounting or administrative related duties as assigned
Supports the Finance Department, as assigned
