Responsibilities

  • Posts and reconciles payments across various platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
  • Monitors and resolves discrepancies in payment applications, cash receipts and customer accounts
  • Assists with month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and account analysis
  • Maintains documentation for accounting processes and ensures compliance with internal controls and company policies
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., Collections, Billing, FP&A) to streamline operational accounting workflows
  • Participates in system upgrades, automation initiatives, and process optimization projects
  • Reviews financial statements for operating trends and results, researching variances to forecast and budget prior month and prior year
  • Researches complex accounting data in order to comply with new accounting policy implementation
  • Researches ways of streamlining and standardizing processes to support the Accounting function
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
