About the Role

The (Senior) Account Manager position is a highly sales-focused and target-driven role requiring a self-motivated individual with a strong 'hunter' profile. The primary responsibilities include identifying and securing new business opportunities while delivering exceptional customer service to existing clients in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The role also involves upholding Converge’s market reputation by adhering to quality standards and trade principles, and staying informed about industry trends to maintain a competitive edge and drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic and commercial mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or proven successful sales experience in the electronic components industry (+3 years).
  • Motivated self-starter attitude.
  • Strong drive for new business; proactive in pursuing new opportunities and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication skills and genuine enjoyment of phone calls and direct customer interaction.
  • Comfort with growth and change, coupled with a positive, entrepreneurial outlook.
  • Must be based in Germany or the DACH region.
  • Ability to travel locally as needed.
  • Strong selling skills and ability to influence at all levels within external customers.
  • Customer-orientation and sympathy.
  • Prospecting and presentation skills.
  • Technical knowledge of the electronic components industry.
  • Energy, creativity, and focus.
  • Excellent command of German and fluency in English.
