About the Spanish Pro Sales Team

The Spanish Pro team focuses on acquiring and onboarding Spanish language professionals. This involves a mix of inbound and outbound lead generation, as well as managing acquired pros for 30 days post-sale through a structured account ownership cadence.

You will be expected to thrive in a dynamic, less structured environment where your self-motivation and effort directly impact customer experience and Thumbtack's bottom line. The team's mission is to improve customer choice and pro budget utilization by bringing larger, higher-quality, and more capable pros into underserved markets.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and activate Spanish-speaking pros using inbound and outbound lead sources.
  • Become an expert in the Thumbtack product to provide successful onboarding and effective service/support for your retained book of business.
  • Contribute new ideas and suggest improvements to existing strategies.
  • Maintain positive relationships with pros, guiding them through a successful experience and identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with frontline managers to strategize on individual accounts during both sales and retention phases.
  • Utilize excellent pipeline management skills to navigate multiple lead types and manage a growing book of business.
  • Demonstrate a self-starter attitude, understanding that success is directly proportional to effort.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of sales experience, with cold calling experience being a must.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in account management or customer care is highly preferred.
  • Ability to build relationships with multiple decision-makers across different organizational levels.
  • Experience with consultative, benefits-based selling to demonstrate the value of Thumbtack.
  • Strong discovery cadence to effectively understand and address business needs.
  • A proactive approach to sales and relationship building, focusing on long-term partnerships rather than short-term gains.
