Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Self-driven, motivated, and results oriented
  • At least 3 years of related sales experience; technology/software sales preferred
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
  • Ability to travel within your territory for customer meetings and events
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and negotiate with emphasis on closing the sale
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through partner networks, networking, referrals, research, and cold calls
  • Ability to travel to/within the region and occasionally nationwide to meet with customers, partners and attend tradeshows
  • Work closely with territory Channel Managers and Sales Engineers to build partner and strategic distributors in region
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
  • Navigate the sales process by identifying the need, positioning the solution, scheduling and participating in the demonstration of the solution, managing the trial process, and closing the sale
  • Communicate customer demand and trends internally
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes, and overcome objections to closure
  • Achieve annual quota according to pre-determined plans
