Candidates should have at least 10 years of sales experience in closing deals, with a minimum of 5 years selling into enterprise markets. A BA/BS degree is required. The ideal candidate must have the ability to understand Modern Treasury’s solutions and communicate effectively with both technical audiences and finance teams. A proven track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement is essential, along with superior verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. Candidates should also be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be willing to perform tasks outside their traditional job description.
The Account Executive will build and execute a territory strategy, grow business with existing customers, and establish relationships with prospective customers. They will build a pipeline through prospecting and closing outbound-generated opportunities, drive opportunities through the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to close, and implement a value-selling methodology for use cases in their territory. The role involves creating a pipeline generation cadence to develop expansion opportunities within existing customers, accurately forecasting sales performance, and working with cross-functional teams to drive commercial discussions and coordinate the sales cycle across internal teams.
