Requirements

Proven data analytics sales experience, ideally in data infrastructure, database, open source, messaging, or big data. Must possess a results-oriented mentality, strong technical acumen in data streaming concepts, Kafka, and the Confluent platform, and the ability to communicate technical value to both technical and business audiences. Requires strong collaboration skills, executive presence, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to justify favorable agreements. Experience in a high-growth environment is also required.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a regional go-to-market strategy, defining target segments and KPIs to drive awareness and interest in Confluent's Shift Left solutions. Become an expert in sales motions for new product releases like Flink, Tableflow, and Connect, and solutions such as Shift Left architecture and AI Agent data streaming architecture. Clearly articulate the value proposition of Confluent's streaming platform to technical and business audiences. Proactively prospect and develop a sales pipeline, engaging with Confluent sales teams to build expansion opportunities. Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations tailored to specific partner needs, and engage with stakeholders to understand pain points and present tailored solutions. Execute and land new customer data streaming projects by helping customers design future-state solutions and implementation plans. Collaborate with partner organizations on joint go-to-market plans, co-marketing initiatives, and sales enablement. Maintain a deep understanding of the data streaming landscape and build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
