Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in natural gas commodity sales, a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, and a strong understanding of competitive natural gas markets. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, an entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are also required. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is necessary.
The Account Executive will drive new business development and renew existing client relationships in the natural gas commodity space, selling energy products and services to commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional customers. Responsibilities include achieving and exceeding sales targets, prospecting and qualifying new leads, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, leading sales presentations, managing the full sales cycle, maximizing margins, staying ahead of market trends, collaborating on lead generation, and providing weekly sales forecasts and performance updates.
