AI Intern
FormstackInternship
Internship
Candidates should be pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, Go, or similar are required, along with familiarity with CI/CD systems and cloud platforms. Experience or interest in foundational models, LLM frameworks, and RAG infrastructure, including vector databases and embeddings pipelines, is necessary. A strong coding ability and a continuous learning mindset are essential for working with senior technical teams and shipping production features.
The AI Engineering Intern/Fellow will integrate LLM developer frameworks, work on internal infrastructure for RAG pipelines, and add evaluation datasets and develop evaluation methods. They will assist in bringing improvements into the Manifold product offering, including developer-facing SDKs, agent orchestration, or compliance-ready AI workflows. The role involves documenting and sharing findings to help shape the future of development culture at Manifold, experimenting with new Agentic Design ideas, building and integrating MCP servers, and integrating foundational models into the platform.
Designs precision biologics using in vivo methods
Manifold Bio specializes in creating precision biologics for the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on drug design and development. Their main product is an in vivo drug design platform, which allows for testing drugs within living organisms rather than in laboratory settings. This platform utilizes mCodes™ technology, a unique protein barcoding system that enables the simultaneous study of multiple proteins in one experiment, making it particularly effective for complex biologics. Unlike other companies, Manifold Bio's approach to drug design is distinct because it integrates in vivo testing with advanced protein multiplexing capabilities. The company's goal is to expand their platform and collaborate with other pharmaceutical companies to develop new therapeutics.
