Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience, with preference for game industry/PE/VC/investment banking/strategic consulting experience
  • Deep understanding of overseas casual game category
  • Ability to conduct casual category research tracking, regional team coverage analysis, and investment project analysis
  • Experience in casual category regional outreach and interactions with top teams (preferred)
  • Familiarity with traffic markets and UA return-on-investment business models, or relevant prior experience
  • Personal network and business development capabilities (preferred)
  • Must attach a list of personal gaming experience history when applying

Responsibilities

  • Handle global game industry chain investment work, formulate investment strategies, investment/cooperation plans, and investment plans
  • Identify excellent game companies and projects to help Tencent enhance coverage and implementation of high-quality game teams and projects
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of market trends, competitors, user needs, etc., identify and judge game market development opportunities, and form valuable strategic suggestions for the department and company
  • Independently responsible for key casual category research, product understanding, layout opportunity analysis; continuously track top teams, support management reporting, cooperate with team to expand key vendors in global regions, and dig into and advance cooperation opportunities
