Moderator Mission

• Your mission as a moderator is to create a safe and positive gaming environment for all players and communities.
• You will play a crucial role in protecting gamers from harmful content such as harassment, hate speech, and unnecessary violence.
• By carefully monitoring and filtering content, you will ensure that players can enjoy their passion without fear of harassment, unwanted content, or bullying.

Responsibilities

Communication

• Moderate digital content, including text, images, and videos, accurately identifying harmful or inappropriate content.
• Collaborate with internal teams, respond to project requests, and maintain smooth communication.

Analysis

• Audit and evaluate interactions, ensuring accurate assessments based on their severity.
• Extract trends and opportunities for improvement from audit results, reporting and sharing them as concrete data for process enhancement.

Leadership

• Actively participate in feature testing and tool improvement, contributing to the continuous enhancement of content moderation practices.
• Maintain a positive attitude with optimism, resilience, and stress tolerance, adapting flexibly to changing situations.
• Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple tasks, executing duties quickly and effectively.
• Take responsibility and initiative for assigned duties, delivering solid results.
• Be flexible and adaptable to change, embracing new ideas and approaches to adapt to evolving environments.
• Be proactive, innovative, and analytical, paying attention to detail and accuracy to pursue high-quality outcomes.

Business

• Identify errors and inconsistencies against established procedures and protocols, maintaining adherence to best practices.
• Moderators are expected to understand that they may be exposed to unpleasant content. Our moderators are expected to possess resilience, maturity, and professionalism to provide the highest quality of service.
• Given that certain content may be perceived as unpleasant by some, we have established support systems to assist with your health and safety.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in business-level English and native-level Japanese.
• Possess calmness, self-awareness, and high self-analytical skills to make sound judgments and respond calmly even in difficult situations.
• Exhibit optimism, resilience, and stress tolerance, responding positively and flexibly to changing situations.
• Experience as a Trust and Safety Moderator is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing or moderating online forums or Discord in the gaming field (either professionally or through private activities).

Work Schedule and Holidays
