Requirements

Studying a technical or natural sciences field (e.g., materials science, plastics technology, medical technology, physics, mechanical engineering) with strong interest in research and development topics
Organized, structured, able to prioritize, and work carefully, reliably, and responsibly
Analytical thinking, biological understanding, and structured working methods
Initial experience working in a technical lab or laboratory
Curious, with quick and good perception
Open, cooperative, and an excellent team player
Fluent in German (C1) and English (B2) in spoken and written form
Very good MS Office skills and advanced IT competencies (programming languages: Python, R, or C)
First experience through industrial internships or vocational training is advantageous
Availability for a mandatory internship starting ideally in March 2026 and lasting at least 5 months

Conduct measurements on plastic parts and evaluate the results
Support the team in day-to-day operations and think beyond the immediate scope
