Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of machining experience, with emphasis on CNC machines
  • Ability to operate 3-Axis CNC machines (preferably Haas), including setup, zero-out cutter tools, writing G-code cutting programs, changing tools, loading and running programs
  • Experience using G-code and M-code
  • Understanding of feed and speed for cutting materials

Responsibilities

  • Use manual saws and table saws to prep and cut materials stock from wood, plastic, and metal for CNC machines
  • Load cutting tools into CNC machines and zero HOME out the equipment
  • Create G-code programs to machine parts and materials with practical understanding of feed and speed
  • Operate interface display panel and run 3-Axis CNC milling machines
  • Operate and run manual CNC lathe machine
  • Daily operation of power hand tools: Drills, Saw, Impacts, Sanders, etc
  • Assemble and construct pattern tooling that may include cavity, gating, risers, pins, etc
  • Construct and repair all types of metal, wood, and plastic patterns using conventional machines and bench work
  • Support Operations with tools readiness and repairs
  • Learn other foundry operation functions and flex to those jobs as needed
  • Follow all PPE requirements and safety procedures
