Requirements

Previous experience operating machinery or heat treat equipment is preferred
A minimum of 1-3 years related industrial machine shop experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Familiarity with using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections
Proficient in using hand tools for fabrication and assembly tasks
Applicant must be ITAR compliant
Ability to acquire proficient knowledge of deburring, de-oiling and dry blast methods utilizing appropriate equipment
Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
Ability to work with a number sequence
Ability to work well with only a modest amount of repeated instructions

Responsibilities

Operate and control various types of machinery and equipment, such as cranes, to perform specific tasks
Fabricate and assemble parts according to blueprints and specifications
Use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers, to ensure accuracy of measurements
Perform quality inspections to identify any defects or issues in the production process
Utilize hand tools and tooling to complete tasks efficiently
Read and interpret blueprints to understand the requirements of each project
